Depending on your age, your playfulness, you can do something that will anchor good emotions to you and you're someone to celebrate things with.
Talk, ask here something she's recently accomplished that she's really happy about(this is best standing), and let it build.
Try transitioning to a celebration ritual (depending on age/culture, high fives with added hip bumps, wooh-wooh, knuckle clacks, etc. etc). If she doesn't follow your lead, you simply say something like, "Oh, I see you haven't learned to really let go and enjoy life yet. . . do xxxxx" and lead her. ALOT of it is your state working with hers. Add COLOR to your life and hers (Pleasantville reference).
