I must confess I am a bit of a keyboard jockey. I probably read as much as I sarge or otherwise interact with women. Is there something in this book then, for a guy like me?

Yes. But it is not more theory. I have already heard most theory out there. The book itself, although it contains some new stuff, is rather a long argument to act rather than read. The book gives you the right focus. The right focus in any given situation, and in a larger scale, in life. And that is the attraction code.

I think the community has been moving towards the attraction code the last few years, and now Vin is the first to formulate it clearly. At first there was an explosion of theories, as in any new field, and lately they have been moving together and become more akin again (in my view). But all these theories and techniques have been used by naturals and evolution for thousands of years. The techniques are constantly re-invented. You don’t need to know about them to do pick-up. The existences of naturals prove that pick-up is easy. Naturals did not accidently trip over and figure out techniques. They accidently had the right focus and were not distracted from it by early failure as so many of us.

Merely by being a man you are inherently attractive to a woman. Vin teaches you have to be a man. You know how to be a man, but if you have a lack of success with women, it is because you are easily distracted from this knowledge. You end up in negative behavior loops or techniques you read about on the internet, rather than enjoying the woman in front of you. Enjoy the moment, and she will enjoy you.

How? Donīt worry, I think most you need to know is in the Attraction Code. At least all that can be learned from the book. His theory is simple, which is a good thing both when it comes to science and pick-up. As a keyboard jockey, I no longer feel the need for more theory. It can all be boiled down into the attraction code anyway. The shine of theory is gone, and that’s a good thing. After all, our true intentions are to meet more women.

The criticism I have is mainly towards the evolutionary explanation of the code in the first few chapters. In some details I disagree (as a neuroscientist I am curious about evolution and do not totally agree with Vin’s (and the community’s) view of this). Right or wrong, that does not affect the theory itself though, so this remark is of limited significance.

I have always (as long as I known about the community) had DiCarlo as my “guru”. But this is the first product I buy from him. Why? Mostly because I can’t stand the marketing lingo of the community. You know when you want to buy a product and have to read a text in several font sizes and colors in order to work up compliance and all the rest. It is like the PUAs product pages have been constructed by that same, retarded kid. I feel like a girl being hit on by a player. As a marketer Vin comes off as having an agenda, the exact thing he teaches you to avoid as a man/pick-up artist. Don’t get distracted by this. He knows his stuff and the price is really low now that he has to compete with all these other “gurus” with e-books. If you only going to buy one book, make sure it is this one.

One reason I have not bought a book before this one is all the information that is out there for free. Why buy information that is free in abundance? Much of the power of the Attraction Code is in the information it leaves out. Your focus on one thing only.

The Attraction Code lights up the path I have already been walking the last years. Only now it is a rail road. Next stop? Happiness.
