I think that being an inner game "junkie" is impossible. Here's why:
First of all if you look at almost any spiritual text or works of history's greatest thinkers they all talk about concepts such as: "self-actualization", "knowledge of self", "know thyself", "the kingdom of God is within", etc.
I think that one of our missions in life is to develop ourselves on the inside and to learn about ourselves. I think that we should do this until the day that we die and that you can never dedicate too much time to working on yourself on the inside.
Society and the media tells us that we need external things to be happy, secure confident, etc. But thats because it's hard to package and sell inner game. Religion tries to make us think that they are the middlemen between us and our higher selves. But that too is B.S., isn't it?
The point is, that if you're on a mission to develop yourself as a man, you'd be stupid not to concentrate on doing from the inside out. Once you do you'll never be dependent on a woman's approval, or some thing you buy in a store to give you things like confidence, happiness, etc.
Keep working on your inner game. Do it for you, not for women. And ironically the women will notice.
Hope that helps. |
