I don't think there was any malice in rarebreed's point. I just think there comes a point with everyone that commits to learning game where the penny drops (not sure if Yanks use that idiom) and you decide "I'm gonna get out and get rejected. Fuck it. If things go well, then that's fine. If I fuck up, that's fine. At least I'm doing something about it". For all those sat at home with AA, I came into game as a nerdy virgin, with no social circle and no social skills. I got so fed up with KJing that I just went out and decided to get those sets in regardless of how well I did. Just get out there and do it, bros. Nothing to lose but your ego. |
