This is upsetting...I understand you're running a business but now you are becoming a marketing guru too. You're following in the foot steps of David D, Lance Mason, David Wygant, and a few others; guys who have lost or are losing credability fast.
$300 for a dvd set on flaking??? Come on. I'm no pickup artist but I don't too bad considering I live in a community of approx. only 20,000 people. In all my interactions with women, as long as there is a strong connection in the first meeting they will not flake on you. This was even said in the
Attraction Code. You create a strong connection by being attractive and knowing logistics.
Guys,
When I first meet a woman and we are hitting it off, here is how I close and this has worked many, many times. At this point of the conversation, I assume she's into me and I have figured out her logistics:
Me: I've enjoyed talking to you. I don't know what your situation is but I want to see you again.
Her: I want to see you too / Ok / Cool
Me: (I pull out my cell or get a piece a paper) Put your number in my phone. (She puts her number in my phone and then I call her phone so she has my number) I will call you Sunday night at 8:00, no 8:03
Her: 8:03!?! Haha you're funny
Me: I'm done being funny. (Put on serious face) I'm a serious mofo.
WOMEN DON'T FLAKE ON YOU AS LONG AS YOU CREATED A STRONG CONNECTION TO BEGIN WITH
The Phone Call:
1. Don't be a dick and not call when you said you were going to call. If you told her you were going to call her Sunday at 8, do it.
2. When she answers don't ask if it's her. Of course it's her.
2a.) If you get her vm don't hang up, leave a message that you will call her back because if you leave her a message to call you, she won't:
- "Hey Christa it's johnny. Just giving you a call like I said I would. I will try calling you back same time tomorrow night."
2b.) If you get a VM the second time she is most likely flaking:
- "Hey it's Johnny again, I guess I missed you again. Here is my number....hope to hear back from ya so we can continue our conversation from the other night." In this case, forget about it and move on.
3. Tell her who is calling but don't explain how she met you. "Hey Christa, it's Johnny. How are ya?"
3a.) If she says "What" / "Who": Remind her about a part of the interaction that was funny. "Remember we were talking about how you grew up in tobacco country North Carolina and your older brother made you try chewing tobacco when you were 10 yrs old. And you ended up puking on his brand new Nike sneakers."
4. This is important. Ask her what she's doing and then ask her to stop so the two of you can talk:
Me: So what are you doing right now?
Her: Reading Cosmo and watching tv
Me: Oh cool. Can you put down the magazine and ignore the tv for 5 minutes so we can talk?
Her: ok
4a.) If she is busy, ask her when it's a good time to call her back.
5. Get her in a fun mood:
- Ask her what she's done since you last saw her
- Tell her what you've done - use humor - make jokes: "I went running this morning, did some grocerys and bought lots of cannolis to defeat the purpose of running. And then I came home and shaved the neighbors cat because he's a piss pot. He's always sleeping on the hood of my car."
- Ask her what she's wearing and then tell her what you're wearing (DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP. SHE WILL MOST LIKLEY NOT BE WEARING ANYTHING SEXY)
6. When the converasation is getting fun, reveal your attraction for her:
- I've realized not only are you attractive but you are fun to talk to
- I think the sound of your voice is sexy, don't get cocky though
- I find it sexy that you're are in to fitness and staying in shape. I really like girls that care about their health.
7. After you have revealed your attraction stay in a flirty zone, don't go back to a personal vibe
8. Ask her on a date:
"Hey, I'm really enjoying this and I would like to continue this in person."
- Keep the date simple, light and fun
- Ask her to meet you (somewhere convienent for the both of you)
- Give her an out, always give the girl an out:
"Let's meet Thursday at Knapp after work for a drink. I'm thinking about 6:30. I can only stay out for about an hour because I gotta be up early for work the next day." (this is the out you are giving her. Giving her an out will not make her feel trapped or obligated to have to hang out for a long time).
I've had alot of success with this method and no matter how tight your follow up game is, if the initial interaction wasn't strong she will most likley flake.
And I'm not charging a dime for this!
