I'm gonna take up the first few lines of this post to gloat over the fact that I'm the first one to post in this section, even before Vin. Anyway, on to my question. Is it optimal to divide the DEL between your first and second meetings? Like, go up to overt class 1 on the first meeting then subsequently escalate to a higher level or to sex on the next? I'm asking because some people (especially where I come from) view overt gestures such as hand-holding and leg touching kind of like making out for the first time, so when you try and meet them again it's like they think you're expecting something. I know it works for same day sex, but what if you have to save your game and resume another time? Any answers would be appreciated. ![]()

There's a similar thread to this that may answer your question: http://www.vindicarlo.com/forums/mai...on-ladder.html

The main thing to remember is that when you get up to a certain point on the ladder - you are there, but if a lot of time passes, you will have to basically start over again. The good news is, when you escalate the second time it can be a lot faster, and you don't need to do all the incidental stuff as much to get her comfortable... Vin

Verneshot, You live in Pleasantville right? ![]() Depending on your age, your playfulness, you can do something that will anchor good emotions to you and you're someone to celebrate things with. Talk, ask here something she's recently accomplished that she's really happy about(this is best standing), and let it build. Try transitioning to a celebration ritual (depending on age/culture, high fives with added hip bumps, wooh-wooh, knuckle clacks, etc. etc). If she doesn't follow your lead, you simply say something like, "Oh, I see you haven't learned to really let go and enjoy life yet. . . do xxxxx" and lead her. ALOT of it is your state working with hers. Add COLOR to your life and hers (Pleasantville reference). Rock

No, I don't live in Pleasantville, unless that's code I'm somehow supposed to understand. =p I kind of get what you're saying, though I'm not experienced with anchoring emotions or any of that stuff. I have a general idea about how they work but I'm not well-versed on their application. I'm not an NLP person, honestly.
