I used to do this Palm Reading routine where I would get the girls to kiss me on the cheek. It works like a charm, but I did it as a reward when she didn't deserve it, at times. I know better now.

Essentially you're in incidental class 3. If you're using the routine to get there very quickly, that's great but I would spend some more time in incidental before moving on or going for a makeout.

Typically, fast makeouts don't happen immediately after a palm reading routine

I get it. I was reading my journal from last year and when I was using the routine I was actually giving the girl an EXCUSE to be in mini-isolation from her friends to be with me. I don't know why I stopped using it. I guess I wanted to be more natural, but it is a useful gambit to isolate a girl within a group. That's the beauty of it.

I learned the palm reading routine from Toecutter's book and it's usefulness in kino escalation is money, but you're right about spending some time with incidental kino afterwards. It only makes sense since the palm read has a lot of overt kino. It's that whole Elusive Obvious stuff David D. talks about.
