Working a social event

I was at a social event yesterday where I only briefly knew 3 of 50 people. Even mix of women and men. So I did what I usually do in a situation like that and at the same time just mentally registered what I actually did. The intent was to learn something about my game. This is my first field report.

I opened the first person I saw, and started screening him. Then I kept working the event just opening and screening. But also nodding towards alpha people who locked eyes with me from a distance. A woman I know(HB6, but a 10 in nice personality) turned up and she didn't recognise me at first because she had no idea I could be at that kind of event. I went up to the entrance and greeted her, gave her a sideways hug and moved her into the room holding her around the shoulder. She is hot for me so she tried to isolate me, I didn't want to turn her down so I went along and got seating at a table with her, she opposite me. Then I went to get some food that was served at the event.

While I was moving towards the food, the youngest woman at the event, a HB8, placed herself in front of me at a distance that seemed like no distance (I was surprised her body and face could be so close without touching) and opened me. She did not know who I was and I did not know her. To both our surprise it turns out she is my new personal bank contact whom I had spoken with on the phone twice. I took this as a sign and grabbed her elbow and said "Hey, come and sit with me, you can have a customer meeting with me while we eat." She seemed a bit reluctant, but said "Yea, I think I could get to know what your business is about." Then she turned away and said "I got to talk to xxx first". I thought, ok maybe i didn't get compliance, and let go of her elbow. Moved to where I was seated and she came running after me, she seemed nervous and had a difficulty deciding where to sit. I pretended to not care about her seating and eventually she seated herself at my right side. Now I had HBnicepersonality in front of me and HBmybankcontact at my right side.

Went again to get the food. It was a bit crowded so I made a small spectacle of trying to NOT collide with some women while carrying my plate. Several women reacted with big smiles as if I was bantering with them. Maybe I was. Got seated again and started to chat with HBmybankcontact. She asked about my business so I told her about it and added some stories about what I had done previously, like creating the Internet Strategy for the bank she was employed by, and setting up a research institute for computer game studies. I didn't tell those stories to game her, it was more a business pitch aimed at other people in hearing distance. She seemed a bit attracted though and I screened her background. Looking back I should have done lots of kino on her, I did none. Sometimes she turned and talked to a colleague on her other side, and on those occasions I talked to HBnicepersonality, who is Chinese, about how I had done a Feng Shui adjustment to my house and how that had improved my business a lot, and about how one uses the Tong Shu calendar to plan businesses. She told me all her relatives and friends in China was true believers in all this. She seemed fascinated by the fact I was too. I also got her to tell me what her name meant in Chinese and she was really embarrassed by the fact that it meant "pink water flower".

Then there where a lecture and I was one of the few that asked any questions at all.

When the lecture was just over and the event was starting to dissolve I got opened by a really old guy who was intent on making friends so I went along with that and lost track of HBnicepersonality and HBmybankcontact. When old guy moved on I was immediately approached from the back by HB9 (hottest woman at the event) who opened me by putting her hand on my arm and turning me towards her. I chatted with her for a while and she was beaming at me the whole time and gave me lots of kino, which I rewarded by giving her kino the same way. During my chat with HB9 I also got opened by a HB7 and they both e-mail closed me and then I saw HBmybankcontacts boss, the local bank manager an older HB8 whom I didn't know personally. She was walking by and I grabbed her and said we should have a meeting, she gave me a radiant smile, said ok, gave me her card and said "e-mail me". Looked around, HB9 and HB7 had left. Caught up with HBbankmanager where my coat was, found HBmybankcontact and old guy there. Got into a chat with all three of them, Old guy and HBbankmanager knew each other. Turned out HBmybankcontact was getting a lift by her boss HBbankmanager so I asked old guy for a lift which he thought to be a splendid idea. Gave HBmybankcontact a big hug at the parking lot, which she really liked (I really should have done more kino to her during my chat with her

Got home to my HB9 wife (a HB11 fashionhorrordoll, when she's dolled up) I found her relaxing in front of the fireplace, so I joined her.

note: Writing this report was a really good idea, I've already got some ideas on how I can improve my social skills

Cool, you seem like a dude that would work on "social proofing" and being cool w/ everyone.

Social proofing is my current project. I'm testing it as a support method in Guerilla marketing strategies. Being cool w/ everyone is my main state

I used to be an absolute master on getting into really deep rapport with most people. That is my next project, to get back on that track and become better than I've ever been at moving quickly into super deep rapport with everyone.
