Default FR: Is she sarging... me?

I was at Borders last night (I'm glad they close at 11 pm) buying a Mother's Day present for my mom, and did. I walked around for a bit. I saw this "un-typical" looking Southern California woman (she was born in Japan raised in NY and lived in many other places.) So I kept breathing, a new thing I learned to get that nervousness away and be more calm .

I did Style's jealous girlfriend routine... but what got my attention was that she said, "That's great, I need a man's perspective." I said "ok" while in my mind, I'm "where did that come from?" lol.

We talked. She gave her opinion. Then she told me her... situation. She's with a guy who is 99% close to being divorced. She wanted to know what she should do. She also stated that the guy's wife is still around. Her situation is not too far from being paralell with Style's Jealous girlfriend opener. I told her she should use her head, not her heart, and kick back in the situation.

We also talked about things she's interested in. She talked a lot about History, Hitler, Military life, American Culture in contrast to other cultures, the book she wrote, and other stuff... I shared my input and opinion to what she talked about. Very "Borders" like conversation. She also started relating to me. I told her I read psychology books and I'm into human behavior. She said she's into that too (in my mind I'm I said "ok, she's relating to me.)

A big, buff, more that 200 pound looking and a foot taller than me guy came into our area. He was very relaxed, he wasn't a cock blocking threat but I guess... he wanted to see what we were up to... turns out he was like a supervisor. They work together. He left after a few minutes, he said nothing, and just stayed in the area facing us.

I told her "I'm going to have to go soon, but I have a while... let's get some coffee." She said "sure." I went to pay for the my mom's present. While she went to go find the big buff dude she was with.

We went to Coffee Bean which was in the same parking lot. We talked mostly about military life... then it got more personal as we talked about our dreams... I always made sure to include the guy in the conversation. I even subtly complimented him a couple of times in the beginning.

I told them my dreams which is to act... well what do you know... can you guess... she can relate to that too... turns out her mother was an actor and did some directing. We had some commonalities, well actually... a lot of them.

After a while I ask "what time is it?" She said "It's 11:15." I told them. "I got to go." She said "We better go too." Well we walked to there car and a I asked the guy "Hey [his nickname] can I borrow her for a minute." He said "sure." Well I talked to her about how she had an acting background and how we can meet up and see some plays. I got her number. She called me "baby" a couple of times. She even said "thanks, baby!" when I signaled give me a high five and she gave me one while slightly grasping my hand.

She has an acting background... which I liked. She's a military brat like me, and she lived in many places while seeing many cultures. She's smart. She's pretty cool.
