OR: Shooting the shit with the ByDesign Guys

A repost. I wouldn't have posted this in here as it's just a snip and not really a full report, but it seems that 'canned materials' is what we are currently interested in. I would just like to share my thoughts on it, with an OR to boot. You might recognize some of the 'lines', they are lines i wasn't able to pull off before congruently, that's in another life.. here goes..

I am to meet one of my MLTR at 11pm at Eastwood and i have time to drop by and meet the guys at Cantina.

Okay nothing spectacular but something worth of note, and i really liked this because i get to 'perfrom' in front of AFC audience and Nash there to witness the shit. haha!

There were a few things i said that I don't usually say (canned responses that aren't 'mine'), it was just that Nash was so good at pumping energy into a set and making them feisty and things becomes easier to pull off.

The one that really caught my attention was HBBodyGuard. She was like the "Don't do that! It's not allowed" Girl and she was so feisty she slaps her friends shoulders, arms and whatever when she disapproves.

And she started pointing at each of us "You with that stupid black blouse (me), you with that funny green shirt (Charm), you with that stupid face! (anonymous) yada yada yada" (she pointed to like 5 guys on our table). Than she said "You look like gays!"

Raki: "If I weren't gay, you would be so mine.." classic! (Laughter from our table). I also made a comment how her english dictionary's limited to 2 entries: stupid and shit. And then when she was actin up leaving, I said "You're leaving? What about our security?!" (She's HBBOdyGuard after all).

Then things got a little blurry. The guys dispersed, getting a crack at them one at a time. Dali was first, AgentJ47, i saw OneZero holding the hand of the girl at the far end. And Nash got busy stealing a pink fan! Which i kinda found fits my general outfit (it looked good on me! lol!)

We decided to move. And just for shit and giggles i tried to have the HBPinkFanOwner to number close me before leaving with "Do you have a phone? Yeah? Punch my number in and give my phone a ring". She took out her phone but somehow got interrupted and I moved to leave.

After a minute, AgentJ47 wasn't coming. I went back with Nash found AgentJ47. And i opened by HBBodyGuard. I don't remember what she said, she made a comment about my long sleeves, it was like

HBBodyGuard: "Why are you wearing sweaters? It's summer!"
Raki: "I didn't expect this place to be like this, I'm used to cooler places".

And she 'negs' me again about my long sleeves that it looked like a blouse!

Raki: "No, you're just attracted to me"
HBBodyGuard: "You think so?!" (wide eyed)
Raki: "Yeah, in fact I do"

..a few more exchanges that i don't remember. And at this point I was talking close to her face, stooping down at her while she was seated. And she was still feisty.

Raki: "Do you have a phone?"
HBBodyGuard: "Yeah.."
Raki: "Take, it out, punch my number in and give my phone a ring"
HBBodyGuard: "You already have PinkFanOwner's number right?"
Raki: "No i don't"

..then her friends goes "Kis! Kiss! Kiss!" (this maybe because we we're talking so close like I'm about to kiss her)

..I wasn't expecting that. But I'm like Jacky Chan, use whatever it is that i got my hands on and use it. Use their tease to tease back. I don't remember my exact words because BL's, hand gestures and facial expression got a lot to do with it.

Raki: "Hellloooo?! Me kiss her?! Nah-ah!" (like I was saying 'yuck! and step back and waving my hands 'no') And i thought i heard laughter, from her friends and i think from the people at the nearby tables as well. And she started tugging at my sleeves, she was saying something and I am not understanding her but I acted like she was forcing me to kiss her, i didn't understand her words, people looking couldn't hear her so it's all BL, so i acted like she was forcing or begging me to kiss her (She might not have, but i made it look like it was.. haha!) I think she was saying something to regain her 'power'. Nah, wouldn't work on me. I'm Raki.

And then, when she let go of my sleeve, i looked at the wrinkle on my sleeve and straightened them out like i was removing dust left over by her grabbing me. aaaaannnnnnnddddd...

Raki: "Stop touching me. This shit aint for free!! hahaha!"

..took a quick look around, i was being watched and i got to focus on one guy closest to the table and the expression on his face was Gold.

..Nash and I left laughing our asses off. hehe. And later i met one of my girls at Eastwood.

..used a couple of lines that are really not mine, wouldnt' have dreamt of using them, but I'm currently in a stage where i know it's not what one says but WHO is talking and how he's saying it.

Here's the cycle I'm seeing.
Raki the "...." who didn't know what to say and do guy that didn't have a prayer.
Raki the "Hi.. I'm Raki.." ..that gets laid some.
Raki the stunt pulling "Hey, I need a quick female opinion" guy.. that got laid more..
Raki the "Hi.. I'm Raki.." and gets laid even more..

..now I'm looking forward to that day i don't say a thing and back to "...." and then 'Getting laid like a Rockstar'.. lol!

..I've been running some experiment (I should've doen so long ago) with this idea that "it's not what one says but WHO is talking and how he's saying it", that made canned community materials a little bit bearable for me, so i gave them a run and was quite surprised that I can pull them off now. Just like "What?! (are you looking at?) hooks, like how "Hey!" and "How's everything goin?" hooks.. it's not the lines/openers.

I just read on another thread (maybe that's where i should post this), that Vin sorta have 'canned' responses/materials. But I also remember him explaining the idea or mindset behind each, especially in his S3 which he say is 'pure application' but he still eplained things though. You can do away with his 'canned material' and go with the idea behind each.

Like he says "Have a Vision" and he has meterials/routines that will elicit certain responses and counter responses, but you can do away with his routines and simply have a "Vision", and let everything fall into place.. i dunno if I'm making sense here.. haha..
