Edit- had to re-think.

I think you still should of went... but I'd tell them soon(not at that party you dont want to be a downer), that you're not in favor with how they handle things, and you're not with that and you have to do you're own thing and find like-minded individuals that share your goals.

but I don't think you have to tear everything down, unless it's all bad... keep the good, stop the bad, and improve. Save yourself time.

Well, I hung out with my friends this Labor day...it was quite fun actually. As I head to pick up LP for the grill, the guy that always crack racist jokes came along. He actually apologized and asked me if I was into the chick that he met for the first time. I told him straight out that she is someone cool to hang out and mess with, however she is not a gf material...plus, I'm not in the relationship frame right now. The brief talk we had was actual cool and I realized that he is human after all.

So, to reward everyone, I'm planning a dinner party for all friends some in next couple of weekends. I'm very confident in the kitchen. I see your point Verse about keeping the good stuff and work the area(s) need(s) work. (sorry if the reply is a bit touchy feely..haha).

So, I take it okay for a man to be in touch with his emotion after all. Free Verse, thanks for all your insight...btw.

You know, growing up I was around some guys that thought it was weak to show emotion, and from what I seen it only magnified the times they were weak and it made the times they acted strong look like a facade.

You have to have emotion WITH MASCULINITY. You have to have control over your emotions. An asshole suppresses the emotions completely, a fool is overwhelmed by them because he lets them control him, and a real man expresses them in a controlled state.

Life without emotions is like living like a robot, no pain, but no passion.

Instead live life with your emotions and as man be in control of them.

Your welcome man, i'm glad I can help you.
