Default Clark Lies More

Hey guys,

I'm Clark. I'm 24, living in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and studying at Harvard Law School.

I guess I'll just mention a few things about myself. I play guitar. I'm very into playing blues, but I also dig lots of different styles and genres. I've been practicing meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for about a year. I love to read as well. I've got the requisite serious literature on my shelf, but I'm also a huge comic book geek and proud of it.

My personal hero is Richard Feynman: practical joker, musician, painter, globetrotter, strip-club connoisseur, consciousness explorer, early pickup artist, and Nobel laureate in physics. Also, Batman. He rocks.

I got into pickup in May, just as I was flying out to San Francisco for a summer job with a law firm. I became pretty close friends with some of the instructors for the pickup companies out there (Social Savant, Pickup 101, and the Authentic Man Program). They're awesome guys, and I learned a lot from them. I'd found the community by reading The Game, like everyone these days, but the SF guys showed me a more natural style of pickup that relies less on routines and canned stuff. Now that I'm back in the Boston area, I can't wait to meet the local community, make new friends, meet some great women, and have some wild times.

I'm also looking forward to learning more about Vin's style, which from what I've read is basically at the cutting edge of natural game. Just picked up the Escalation Ladder e-book, and it's money as all hell. It looks like there's a lot of great info and lots of great guys on this forum, so I'm pretty stoked to join in the fun.

Cheers,
Clark (Smallville)

Clark,

Your pseudonym implies much more than your entry. Your problem seems complex for you, even though your blog is short. Let me break this down:

You obviously attend Harvard, which I, as well as you know, is not going to get you laid, nor is it as profound as people think in the intelligence community (forgive me, I know, I have many typos. I write in stream of consciousness).

You are ambiguous as to whether you want you get laid, find a girlfriend, love, etc.

You obviously are a smart gentleman (the guys from Harvard I meet that are insecure assholes are much addicted to therapy, drugs, egomania or a combination).

If you would like to meet women to get laid, stray from your normal routines. Fail, learn and apply. If you would like to meet women like yourself, stay within your routine, venture outside your environment, fail, learn and apply.

Got it?

Best wishes,
Sam C.
