I don't know how to start...really

After reading Vin's book "The Attraction Code" I'm little confused. I've been taught in the classic PU community that I need to say "Hi" before I can tell compliments and before direct approach...but I think this is BS. Vin also told that it's most important to take action...but HOW? What should I do? I don't really understand (btw, was that student Patrick real person? Or Vin just invented him for the purpose of the book)?

So, are there some specific things I can take to start meeting girls on the street?

I think taking action means going out there and approaching women. And I believe it says somewhere in the beginning of "The Attraction Code" that Patrick's story is fictional.

My question is HOW to start...getting out of the house is just a step it's not just get and stay out of it..you must do something more than just that
