Default A man's focus

After re-reading certain parts of the attreaction code as well as other various sources, Ive come to find that I have a poorly trained focus - you might even call it weak.

I have heard and seen focus referred to in various books that I am reading, so I know Vin is spot on when he tells us that it really is the mater key to open the gates of life and pick-up.

So what Ive decided to do is this -

1) write things out to get them on paper, as well as clarify a few things in my own mind
2) make a concious effort to strengthen and really work on my focus and attention in the present moment

I will be using intention and focus cards as well as a question based method to direct my focus many times during the day as well as taking time to really stop, listen, and clarify what hat focus looks/smells/acts like and how it looks in my life, really get a clear picture of me with this focus and the possiblities that can happen from that point.

I will be training this just like a habit/muscle - repitiion is the mother of all skills and the more reps per day i can complete the faster I will be on my way.

"A mans focus should be on something outside of himself"

David

what makes you say your focus is weak? what experiences have you been having on the field that makes you say that?

Has there been a time when you felt you were on point with your focus? what did you do different?

Its not necessarily weak - its untrained - it has atrophied, at the times I have a solid focus, I am almost unstoppable, key here is I lose it more often than not and have trouble really keeping sharp so my successes are haphazard at bets - just need to slow down, get back into my body, and really train a rock solid focus

Thanx for our input Lester - you really do capture the best parts of this forum - feel free to email me or pm me

but why do you say it's untrained? are you thinking about what she's thinking about, are you insecure that you get distracted from your focus and you think about shit that's going on within you?
