Anyone from/in Miami?

I'm gonna make a personal trip to Miami in a couple weeks to scope things out - I'm thinking of moving there. Was wondering if any one could suggest an area/neighborhood to live. I'm looking for younger people, but not necessarily a student ghetto, with lots to do. Right now I'm thinking about coconut grove.

Also, suggestions for clubs/bars to hit at night would be appreciated.

Hey,I live in Miami. The grove wouldn't be a bad spot, if you can find a place thats not in the BAD side.harsh ghetto right outside coco walk.The best place you can live in miami I'd say is right on the beach thats really where you can just go out and see alot of people out and about, also thats where all the actions at(all the best stuff is at the beach)I live in kendall which is a suburb in miami-dade county.Miami consist of alot of neighborhoods, but there arent alot of good places to sarge in these suburbs, so you'll end up at the beach one way or another.The best bars and clubs are 21 over therefore i can't help you too much with that, because im only 18.
