Default 1-on-1 with Orleans

Hi guys!

Here’s my review of the one-on-one I attended with Orleans on May 23rd, 24th, 25th in Montreal.

When I arrived in the hotel lobby on the first day of the seminar, I was really excited. I must say that I was not an easy candidate for such a seminar. My mother tongue is French and my English is so-so, I’m only 18, it was the first time I ever went to Montreal (and Orleans was counting on me to identify the venues I wanted to practice in), and I had 2 years of wrong pick-up theories to unlearn. It seemed to be a nearly insurmountable challenge, but it all turned up to be excuses I had to don’t take action. I hesitated a lot before subscribing; the actual price of the 1-on-1 seemed very expensive to me, but this experience was worth e-v-e-r-y penny.

First of all, I have to say that Orleans is a really cool guy and he totally understood the situation I was in. He’s a very calm person and he knows how to make people at ease really fast. We were able to perform the drills at my pace, obviously a little bit slower from time to time because of the language barrier.

On Friday night we had to scout out for good venues, and we ended up finding some really great ones. I’ve never been a shy guy so I was not affected that much by approach anxiety, which allowed me to open what I consider to be a lot of sets. The first set I opened was a 4-set. Orleans escalated really fast on that cutie after I introduced him to the group. It was hard for him to demonstrate because the target’s friend was drunk and kept fighting for her attention. At one point she literally dragged her away of Orleans when she realized they were still talking together. Then, the funniest thing happened. I asked Orleans for another demo, and the girl he opened happened to be francophone, and she didn’t know any English. He pulled me in set, ejected, and I started talking to her on the spot, improvising a lot and escalating as much as I can. It was way easier for me to interact in French, and I ended up number-closing her. The other sets of the night were also funny as Orleans asked me to open them in all kind of ways.

Saturday was loaded in realizations and breakthroughs. This has been the heart of the bootcamp for me. I learned so much information that it became a sticking point during the second night. I was trying to incorporate everything at the same time and probably came off really weird to the sets I opened. I’m someone who usually learns new stuff easily and quickly, and at one point I got angry at myself for not succeeding as well as I would have liked to. When Orleans noticed I was getting frustrated, he sat down with me and we just talked. He told me that I was overwhelmed with all the new stuff he taught me, which was true. I have read almost everything that the industry has to offer regarding to technologies and methods, and I’m sincerely convinced that Vin’s drill system is the fastest way to get this part of your life permanently handled. You have to put the time though. You’re not going to become a master overnight. My review might not convince you if you're like I used to be: looking for a mathematical equation that bonds people. Such a thing doesn’t exist though, and this 1-on-1 made me realize it was a good thing. Natural game is the real deal.

On Sunday we covered more advanced stuff and Orleans answered the questions I had about specific sticking points of mine including fashion, after-sex game, social circle game, and day game.

If you speak good English, which I assume 99% of this forum’s readers do, a bootcamp might be a good alternative for you. However, in my opinion, nothing could replace a 1-on-1. Orleans is incredibly good at what he does. I was coming to that bootcamp hoping to see him perform deadly pick-up ninja moves, and what he did was by bar more impressive. The guy has THE smoothest game I’ve EVER seen. And I've seen every infield footage there is under the sun. He was picking up girls that weren’t even conscious of what was happening to them. I still can't believe how easy it seemed to be for him to manoeuvre and escalate.

Thanks again, Orleans. I’m well on my way of getting good at this. You know what my ultimate goal is, and you’ve helped me take one more step toward it. We’ll keep in touch, my friend.
